About Schill Labs.
Schill Labs is one person — me. I build software, phone apps, and a PC game. This page is the honest version of what that means.
What this is
Schill Labs is a one-person software studio. There's no office and no team photo to show you. There's a backlog, a lot of coffee, and a rule that nothing ships until I'd be happy paying for it myself.
The software side has two products. FragLedger is live: a CS2 match ledger built from official Valve demos. Live QA is a question-and-answer bot for companies, still in development.
The app side currently has four projects: Mello, a calm game for the end of the day; Dryfire Trainer, structured dry-fire practice; Swing Loop, golf practice built on repetition; and Bloom Doc, for keeping plants alive. Each one exists because I wanted it and couldn't find a version I liked.
The game side has one project: a western settlement builder for Steam. It's the long-haul project, the one that gets the late nights. It doesn't have a public name yet.
FragLedger is the first thing that's actually out. The four phone apps and Live QA are still in development. When the next one launches, the newsletter is where it gets announced.
How I work
Things ship when they're done, not when a quarter ends. Everything I release stays supported — the support email goes to me, and bugs get fixed by the person who wrote them. And I don't do dark patterns: no fake urgency, no streak guilt, no trackers on this site.
The name
"Schill" is from my last name. "Labs" is because half of what I build starts as an experiment, and only the ones that survive testing get released.
